Vodafone Mobile Internet Tariff

€9.99 Mobile Internet monthly add on (Pay Monthly customers only)

This tariff is only available to customers accessing Mobile Internet content via the Vodafone live! access point name (APN) live.vodafone.com, or the old WAP APN wap.vodafone.ie.

If you access the internet via an internet or WAP browser or via an application using a different APN (such as the ISP access point, the office access point or the high speed access point) then the standard data charges associated with those access points will apply.

A monthly data usage allowance of 1 GB applies to this tariff. Usage in excess of 1 GB per month will be charged at 0.1c per KB.

In the case of existing Vodafone customers who make a request to purchase the €9.99 Mobile Internet monthly add on in the middle of any month, the add on will only come into effect on their next available bill day.

In the case of new customers who take out a subscription mid-month, the first month’s data allowance will be pro-rata. For example, if you take out a subscription on 14 March and your first bill date is 21 March, you will be charged approximately €2.49 for 125MB of data. If you exceed that allowance, you will be charged the standard charge for data access.

You can cancel your subscription at any time by calling Customer Care or via the My Vodafone subscription page on your PC or handset. Once you notify us that you wish to cancel, the data add on subscription will be removed from your account on the next available bill day.

There is no daily connection fee for Pay Monthly customers with an active Mobile Internet €9.99 monthly add on.

Only one data add on may be included on your price plan at any time.

You cannot rollover any unused monthly allowance to the next month. Once you’ve used up your monthly allowance, further data access in that same billing period will be charged at the default data rate of 0.1c per KB.

If Vodafone Content Control prevents access to either Vodafone live! pages, mobile internet pages, or any internet content, then you will be charged at the relevant data rate for any data used in the attempt.

Standard data charges will apply to all data associated with downloads including ringtones, games, videos, music tracks and wallpapers or any content uploaded from your phone to the mobile internet. Data charges associated with Radio DJ streaming will be zero rated.

If in Vodafone’s reasonable opinion you are abusing the Mobile Internet service in any way, we may ask you to moderate your behaviour or in extreme cases may block your access to all data services.

If you want to use data services like making calls over the internet or sharing data files over the internet you should choose the Mobile Internet Data Plus add on from the 10th of January 2010 onwards. The €9.99 Mobile Internet monthly add on (Pay Monthly customers only) does not support these services for new customers or customers upgrading their tariff or Equipment from that date.

The 39c daily service fee mobile internet offer is applicable to selected customers only until 31st August 2010.  From the 1st September 2010 normal mobile internet pricing will apply.

Mobile Internet and Vodafone live!

These terms shall apply to prepaid customers and postpaid customers without a monthly data bundle
accessing Mobile Internet content via the Vodafone live! access point name (APN) live.vodafone.com, or the old WAP APN wap.vodafone.ie.

If you access the internet via an internet or WAP browser or via an application using a different APN (such as the ISP access point, the office access point or the high speed access point) then the standard data charges shall apply. Charging commences when you enter your initial page of the Mobile Internet. This shall be charged at €0.15 and increase to a cap of €0.99 up to a limit of 50mb. Any data in excess of 50mb shall be charged at 0.1c per KB.

The daily connection fee will only be levied once per calendar day (time period 00.00.00 to 23.59.59). If your session continues through midnight, you will incur a new connection fee if you incur additional data usage and charges.
