Vodafone General Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. These terms and conditions apply to all competitions run by Vodafone unless otherwise stated.
  2. In order to enter any competition, customers must correctly undertake the task set or answer the question correctly as the case may be. Competitions are only open to those people identified as being permitted to enter or requested to enter as the case may be. Competitions are not open to Vodafone employees or their families.
  3. Customers entering any competition will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
  4. Entries must be strictly in accordance with these terms and conditions and any other conditions in the messaging or promotions around such competition or they will be invalid. One entry is permitted per person. Entries from agents/third parties are invalid.
  5. Vodafone accepts no responsibility or liability for entries or information relating to entries that are lost.
  6. An independent judge will pick the winning entry or entries at random from valid entries received. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  7. Any prize is as stated in any messaging or promotions advertising such competition. No cash or other alternative will be offered and prizes are non-transferable.
  8. Vodafone reserves the right at its sole discretion to alter any prize or substitute the prize with cash to the same value for any reason and without notification. In the event that the winner declines the prize awarded to him/her or Vodafone is unable to contact the winner after reasonable efforts have been made, Vodafone may award the prize to another entrant, selected at random.
  9. By accepting the prize, the winner grants Vodafone the right to use and publish his/her name and picture in such media as Vodafone may choose (including but not limited to the internet) for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration.

Taste of Dublin SOHO Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. These terms and conditions apply to the competition being run by Vodafone in which certain customers can win one of ten pairs of tickets to the “Taste of Dublin 2011” on 11 June from 5.30pm until 9.30pm.
  2. The competition is only open to individuals that received an SMS from Vodafone asking them to enter. Only one entry is permitted per account and Vodafone, its agents or employees are not permitted to enter.
  3. In order to enter any competition, customers must submit their entry together with a valid email address by following the link or instructions contained in the SMS received.
  4. Customers entering any competition will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
  5. Entries must be strictly in accordance with these terms and conditions and any other conditions in the messaging or promotions around such competition or they will be invalid.
  6. Vodafone accepts no responsibility or liability for entries or information relating to entries that are lost.
  7. The winning entry or entries will be chosen at random from valid entries received. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

Simply Plus Prize Draw

  1. Entry for this prize draw runs from 2nd until 31st August 2011 (“the Closing Date”).
  2. To be entered into this prize draw, customers must sign up to a Simply Plus plan on the vodafone.ie website when they switch to Vodafone on a bill pay contract from another network operator.
  3. Persons entering the competition will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
  4. Entries must be strictly in accordance with these terms and conditions. Any entry not in strict accordance with these terms and conditions will be deemed to be invalid and no prizes will be awarded in respect of any such entry.
  5. This promotion is only open to customers of Vodafone Ireland Limited ("Vodafone") and resident in the Republic of Ireland. Vodafone employees are excluded. Entries from agents/third parties connected with the competition are invalid.
  6. Vodafone accepts no responsibility or liability for entries or information relating to entries that are lost or undelivered to Vodafone.
  7. The winner of the prize draw will be picked at random from all valid entries received by the Closing Date. The winner will be notified by phone and/or email within fifteen working days. Vodafone’s decision as to the winner of the prize draw will be final and no correspondence will be entered into with any entrant. In circumstances where Vodafone has been unable to contact the winner after three attempts Vodafone reserves the right to select another winner.
  8. There will be two prizes consisting of one HTC Sensation smartphone and one Nexus S from Google smartphone. No cash or other alternative will be offered and the prize is non-transferable. Please note that the prize may not be transferred from the Vodafone network to another network operator.
  9. Vodafone reserves the right at its sole discretion to alter the prize or substitute the prize with cash to the same value for any reason and without notification. In the event that the winner declines the prize awarded to him/her, Vodafone may award the prize to another entrant.
  10. The winner must not be in breach of or have served or received notice to terminate or suspend their airtime agreement with Vodafone at the time of the entry into this competition.
  11. By accepting the prize, the winner grants Vodafone the right to use and publish his/her name and picture in such media as Vodafone may choose (including but not limited to the internet and Vodafone In Business ezine) for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration. Vodafone may also publish and/or disclose the results of the prize draw including the including the winner's name and details of entry.
  12. Vodafone reserves the right to suspend or terminate the competition or amend these terms and conditions at any time for any valid technical or commercial reason.

Dublin’s Finest Supporter Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. In order for a person to enter ‘Dublin’s Finest Supporter’ they or any other person must nominate them through the hill16.ie website.
  2. Those nominated should be the persons who are the most dedicated and passionate persons associated with their Dublin club
  3. There is no limit on the number of nominations per club.
  4. Vodafone accepts no responsibility or liability for entries or information relating to entries that are lost or undelivered to Vodafone.
  5. All nominations should be made by the closing date of 10 June 2011, nominees will then be contacted if they reach the interview stage process.
  6. A Vodafone assigned person will interview 20 nominations and narrow ‘Dublin’s Finest Supporter’ to five persons. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  7. Once the selection has been narrowed down to five persons, the choice will then be open to the public to vote for the person they believe is ‘Dublin’s Finest Supporter’. The voting will take place online and the winner will receive the most number of votes. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  8. The winner will have their name emblazoned on a seat in Parnell Park, they will receive a season ticket for Parnell Park 2011/2012 season, tickets for all the Dublin GAA championship games this season and also receive a weekend break for two in Ireland – 2 nights B&B plus 1 dinner.
  9. Persons nominated will be deemed to have accepted all these terms and conditions.
  10. The prizes are as stated in these terms and conditions. However, Vodafone reserves the right at its sole discretion to alter the prizes without notification. In the event that the person nominated declines the alternative offered to him/her, Vodafone may award the substitute to another person.
  11. By accepting the nomination, the nominee grants Vodafone the right to use and publish his/her name and picture in such media as Vodafone may choose (including but not limited to the internet) for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration. Vodafone may also publish and/or disclose the results of the ‘Dublin’s Finest Supporter’ programme including the nominee's name and details of entry.
  12. Vodafone is excluded from liability for any loss, damage or injury which might occur to the nominee during the programme.

Vodafone Free Mobile Broadband for a Year Competition Terms and Conditions

  1. These terms and conditions apply to the Vodafone “Free Mobile Broadband for a Year” competition run by Vodafone via its customer SOHO e-zine..
  2. In order to enter any competition, customers must correctly answer the question. The competition is only open to the recipient of the SOHO e-zine. Competitions are not open to Vodafone employees or their families.
  3. Customers entering any competition will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
  4. Entries must be strictly in accordance with these terms and conditions. One entry is permitted per person. Entries from agents/third parties are invalid.
  5. Vodafone accepts no responsibility or liability for entries or information relating to entries that are lost.
  6. An independent judge will pick the winning entry or entries at random from valid entries received. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  7. The prize consists of 12 months free Mobile Broadband on the Vodafone network (10GB per month limit – any usage in excess of this limited will be charged at 2c per Mb). No cash or other alternative will be offered and prizes are non-transferable.

Vodafone MMS Competition Terms

  1. These terms and conditions apply to the Vodafone MMS Competition.
  2. This Competition is open to all customers who receive a BSMS from Vodafone with details of the Competition and reply to 50220 to enter the Competition. In addition in order to enter the Competition, customers must send at least three MMS messages (i.e. any size picture or video message) to mobile phones on any Irish network between 21st February 2011 and 14th March 2011.
  3. Competitions are not open to Vodafone/Vodafone agent employees or their families.
  4. Customers entering the Competition will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
  5. One entry is permitted per person.
  6. Vodafone accepts no responsibility or liability for entries or information relating to entries that are lost.
  7. The ten winning entries will be drawn at random from valid entries received. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  8. The prize consists of 10 Nokia C7 phones (one phone per selected winner) for use on the Vodafone network. No cash or other alternative will be offered and prizes are non-transferable.
  9. Vodafone reserves the right at its sole discretion to alter any prize or substitute the prize with cash to the same value for any reason and without notification.

GAA Online Competition

  1. In order to enter the competition, customers must correctly answer the question raised. The competition is only open to customers who receive an e-mail from Vodafone inviting them to enter the competition. This competition is not open to Vodafone employees or their families.
  2. Customers entering the competition will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
  3. Entries must be strictly in accordance with these terms and conditions or they will be invalid. One entry is permitted per person. Entries from agents/third parties are invalid
  4. Vodafone accepts no responsibility or liability for entries or information relating to entries that are lost.
  5. An independent judge will pick the winning entry or entries at random from valid entries received. Tickets will be sent by post before the game. The decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. The prize consists of two tickets for one of the games in which your county team are playing. No cash or other alternative will be offered and the prize is non-transferable. Lost tickets will not be replaced.
  7. The prize is as stated in these terms and conditions. However, Vodafone reserves the right at its sole discretion to alter the prize or substitute the prize with cash to the same value for any reason and without notification. In the event that the winner declines the prize awarded to him/her, Vodafone may award the prize to another entrant, selected at random.
  8. By accepting the prize, the winner grants Vodafone the right to use and publish his/her name and picture in such media as Vodafone may choose (including but not limited to the internet) for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration.

Vodafone With Compliments

  1. These terms and conditions apply to Vodafone’s With Compliments programme (“With Compliments”)
  2. With Compliments offers are only open to selected existing Vodafone Ireland mobile customers. Each will be provided on a quarterly basis and will contain additional terms and conditions relating specifically to that offer.
  3. By selecting a With Compliments offer, you will be deemed to have read and understood these Terms and Conditions, and to be bound accordingly.
  4. Your selected monthly offer will be applied to your account as notified by Vodafone and will continue for three months thereafter.
  5. By selecting a With Compliments offer, you agree that Vodafone may contact you with updates on any future With Compliments offers. Should you wish to be removed from our With Compliments programme, please do so via Vodafone.ie/withcompliments.
  6. Vodafone and its agents will comply with all Data Protection laws and your personal data will be handled in accordance with Vodafone's privacy policy.
  7. Vodafone will not offer a cash alternative to any With Compliments offers/vouchers.
  8. Vodafone will not enter into correspondence relating to issues customers may have with third parties in relation to the With Compliments programme.
  9. Vodafone cannot accept responsibility for refusal of redemption of any With Compliments voucher(s) by third parties as a result of closure, operational, health and safety or any other reasons.
  10. Vodafone is excluded from liability for any loss, damage or injury which might occur as a result of redemption of any With Compliments offer.
  11. Vodafone reserves the right to withdraw or amend the With Compliments programme at any time for any valid technical or commercial reason. Notice will be given via email to customers who have registered to be part of the With Compliments programme.
  12. By choosing your monthly reward both via online and text shortcode, Vodafone will apply the selection received closest to the offer close date.

Vodafone/Gala Price Plan

  1. The following terms and conditions are for Vodafone’s exclusive deal with Gala retail employees (“the Service”) and are in addition to and form part of the general terms and conditions under which you enjoy access to Vodafone’s mobile telecommunications services. For further details on these general terms and conditions as they apply to you please contact 01 2932600
  2. The Service is available only to Gala employees who sign up for the post paid Gala exclusive price plan and use a Vodafone virtual private network (“VPN”). You must meet these criteria to avail of the Service. On any Gala employee ceasing to be employed by Gala Vodafone reserves the right to refuse to allow that person access to the Service.
  3. Gala employees may register for the Service by contacting 01 2932600. The Service will become operable on your next bill day following successful implementation of the Service on your systems.
  4. Eligible Gala employees who subscribe to the Service shall be entitled to make unlimited calls to other members of their VPN.
  5. For the purposes of the Service “on-net” calls means calls between your Vodafone mobiles subscribed to the Service and belonging to the same VPN. The service also include calls from these Vodafone mobiles to up to ten (10) of your Irish fixed line numbers. The ten (10) fixed line numbers must be your numbers (i.e. registered in the name of the Vodafone customer subscribing to the Service) and must be included in your VPN. Third parties’ numbers are not acceptable.
  6. Under no circumstance are the types of calls listed below included within the Service. All such calls will be charged for at Vodafone’s standard rates determined by the tariff that you are subscribed to. Calls not included are: 
  1. calls to any mobile numbers outside your VPN;
  2. save as set out in paragraph 5 above, calls to any number belonging to another mobile or fixed telecommunications network;
  3. calls made while roaming;
  4. international calls; save where the customer has subscribed to Vodafone Business Passport, Vodafone Wireless Office International Plus or Wireless Office Share International Plus. Details of these plans are on www.vodafone.ie;
  5. diverted calls and calls to voicemail;
  6. save for a ‘Prolink’ as described in paragraph 11 (which is required to operate certain functions of the Service), calls to or from any Mobile Gateway or ‘SIM box’ (as described in ComReg Information Notice 15/03);
  7. calls to ISPs or mobile ISPs
  1. You may register one Irish fixed line number to be mapped to a Vodafone mobile number to allow calls to that fixed line number to be routed to your VPN mobile numbers at no extra charge. This process of number translation will take place on your PABX.
  2. This contract is for a minimum period of twelve (12) months. If you wish to terminate the contract during that initial period you must pay a cancellation charge. This charge is based on the number of handsets you have multiplied by the number of remaining months multiplied by the monthly tariff charge that you pay per handset. After the initial twelve (12) month period this contract will automatically roll over from month to month until terminated by either you or Vodafone on twenty eight (28) days’ written notice.
  3. Vodafone reserves the right to vary or amend any element of this Service at any time. These terms and conditions may be varied or amended by Vodafone for any valid commercial, technical or operational reason. Any changes made to the product, tariffs or terms and conditions will be notified to you by advertisement in national press or will be posted on www.vodafone.ie/business. These changes will be posted not less than 14 days before they take effect.
  4. Title to any equipment supplied to you by Vodafone to use the Service will remain with Vodafone. Risk in all supplied equipment will rest with you.
  5. You accept that responsibility for the installation, maintenance and operation of the mobile gateway device (“Prolink”) to be integrated with your PABX is your sole responsibility. Vodafone is not and will not be liable or responsible for the installation, operation or maintenance of this equipment or its interaction with your PABX.
  6. Fair Use Policy - It is important to Vodafone that all eligible Vodafone customers are able to access our services. Accordingly, we have devised a fair use policy which applies to the Service. Vodafone may rely on this fair use policy where your usage of the Service is excessive or unreasonable as detailed in this paragraph. Vodafone has developed the Service and the related tariffs by reference to average business customer profiles and estimated customer usage of the Service (particularly the estimated volume and length of free on-net VPN calls likely to be made by users). If your usage of the Service materially exceeds these estimated use pattern over any month, Vodafone may contact you to advise you that your usage exceeds its fair use policy.

    If the excessive usage continues after receipt of a request to desist from or alter the nature of such usage, Vodafone may suspend, modify or restrict your use of the Service or may withdraw your access to the Service.

Vodafone 360 H1 Pre-Registration Competition

  1.  This free-to-enter competition runs until 22nd Oct 2009.
  2. In order to enter this competition you must log onto insert link and preregister the required details on or before 22nd Oct 2009 (the “Closing Date”).
  3. Persons entering the competition will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
  4. Entries must be strictly in accordance with these terms and conditions. Any entry not in strict accordance with these terms and conditions will be deemed to be invalid and no prizes will be awarded in respect of any such entry. Entries from agents/third parties are invalid.
  5. Vodafone accepts no responsibility or liability for entries or information relating to entries that are lost or undelivered to Vodafone.
  6. The winning entry will be picked at random from correct and valid entries received by the Closing Date. The winner will be notified by Oct 31st 2009.
  7. Vodafone’s decision as to the winner of the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into with any entrant.
  8. There will be ten prizes consisting of one Vodafone 360 H1 Samsung Handset.
  9. No cash or other alternative will be offered and the prize is non-transferable. Please note that the prize may not be transferred from the Vodafone network to another network operator.
  10. When you register your details we will confirm the registration by e-mail.

Laureus World Sports Awards Competition in conjunction with Newstalk

  1.  The competition will run from 15th February 2010. Competition lines will remain open until Friday 19th February 2010.
  2. The winner will be contacted on before Wednesday February 24th 2010 by Vodafone.
  3. In order to enter this competition, customers must answer the competition questions correctly to be in with a chance to win.
  4. This promotion is only open to entrants over 18 years of age and are resident in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland. Employees of Vodafone and Newstalk and members of their families are excluded.
  5. Persons entering the competition will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions of the competition.
  6. Entries must be strictly in accordance with these terms and conditions. Any entry not in strict accordance with these terms and conditions will be deemed to be invalid and no prizes will be awarded in respect of any such entry. Entries from agents/third parties are invalid.

  8. All entrants must have bill payer’s permission.

  11. There will be one prize for one winner consisting of a trip for four people to Laureus World Sports Awards, Abu Dhabi. The prize includes return flights from Dublin to Abu Dhabi, 2 nights accommodation will be provided including meals (breakfasts and dinner) , access to the Laureus Sports Awards, and transportation (to and from the airport and to and from the awards). Any additional costs outside those just detailed will not be covered by Vodafone or Newstalk. No cash or other alternative will be offered and the prize is non-transferable. Itinerary will be provided at time of notification of prize winning.
  12. The Laureus World Sports Awards is a black-tie event and it is the responsibility of the winner and guests to attend the awards in suitable attire.

However, Vodafone reserves the right at its sole discretion to alter the prize or substitute the prize with cash to the same value for any reason and without notification. In the event that the winner declines the prize awarded to him/her, Vodafone may award the prize to another entrant, selected at random.
  14. Vodafone reserves the right to suspend or terminate the competition or amend these terms and conditions at any time for any valid technical or commercial reason.

PLEASE NOTE: The winner is responsible for ensuring that they meet the requirements to travel and are in possession of suitable identification and meet ALL visa criteria that is required by the United Arab Emirates at time of travel In the event that the winner does not meet the requirements to travel on Monday 8th March 2010 Vodafone will not be held liable for this and will offer the prize to another competition entrant who has answered the competition question correctly. The prize is non-transferable and all competition winners must be available to travel at the arranged times with Vodafone on March 8th-March 12th. By accepting the prize, the winner grants Vodafone the right to use and publish his/her name and picture in such media as Vodafone may choose (including but not limited to the internet) for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration. LG Cookie Fresh Competition Terms & Conditions

  1. This competition runs until Friday 7th May (the “Closing Date”).
  2. Entry to the competition is free and is open to all ezine subscribers who register their interest for the LG Cookie Fresh on vodafone.ie/comingsoon.
  3. Each person entering the competition will be deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
  4. An independent judge will pick the winning entry at random from a list of pre-registrations received on or before the Closing Date. The judge's decision as to the winner of the competition is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  5. There will be five prizes of one LG Cookie Fresh handset.
  6. The winners will be notified by email 5 days after the Closing Date and will receive the prize within 14 days of the Closing Date.
  7. The above prize is non-transferable and not for resale. However, Vodafone reserves the right at its sole discretion to alter the prize or substitute the prize with cash to the same value for any reason and without notification. In the event that the winner declines the prize awarded to him/her, Vodafone may award the prize to another entrant and will not offer the original winner an alternative of cash or other.

Roaming Competition

These Competition Rules (the “Rules”) apply to the Roaming Competition (the “competition”) organised by Vodafone Ireland, MountainView, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland.

  1. The competition is open to principal users of a valid Vodafone PAYG or Bill Pay Phone who are residents of the Republic of Ireland (RoI) and aged 18 years or over at the time of entering the competition. Entrants must meet the above eligibility requirements as specified above, failure to meet the eligibility requirements will result in an entry being invalid and/or forfeiture of any prize. Vodafone reserves the right in its sole discretion to ask for evidence to verify the age, identity and/or eligibility of an entrant at any time, and to use any channels and methods available to carry out checks of any details provided. These are the terms and conditions applicable to persons ("Act") entering the Bon Jovi Opening Act competition, (the "competition"). The competition will run from 8th April until 19th May. Closing date for entries will be 1st May at 6pm. Five acts will be selected by a panel of judges to compete Live in Vicar St on Thursday 19th May 2011. TWO ACTS will be selected as winners on Thursday 19th May 2011, The ultimate prize (the "Prize") is for 2 acts, ONE (of 2 selected) act to play on stage at the RDS as opening act to Bon Jovi on 29th June and for ONE (the 2nd of 2 selected) act to play on stage at the RDS as opening act to Bon Jovi on 30th June. Eligibility

Vodafone Support Your GAA Club programme

The following terms and conditions for the Vodafone Support Your GAA Club programme are in addition to and form part of the terms and conditions of the Vodafone bill pay and pay as you go terms and conditions. How to join Vodafone Support Your GAA Club programme

Vodafone bill pay and pay as you go

  1. The Vodafone Support Your GAA Club programme is run in conjunction with the GAA as an official GAA Give-Back Partner programme.
  2. In order to be eligible to join Vodafone Support Your GAA Club programme you must be a current Vodafone Ireland mobile bill pay or pay as you go customer and be resident on the island of Ireland.
  3. Vodafone Ireland mobile bill pay and pay as you go customers who wish to join Vodafone Support Your GAA Club programme should visit www.supportyourgaaclub.ie and nominate the GAA Club on the island of Ireland that they want to benefit from the programme.
  4. In all circumstances it is the responsibility of the person nominating the GAA Club to obtain the consent of the Vodafone Ireland account holder.
  5. The Vodafone Support Your GAA Club programme is open to Vodafone Ireland mobile pay as you go, Perfect Choice and Perfect Fit customers or those customers on a legacy bill pay plan. Vodafone customers can only nominate one club per total bill notwithstanding the fact that there may be more than one mobile number on that bill. How does Vodafone Support Your GAA Club programme work?

  1. Your nominated GAA Club will receive a “contribution” from Vodafone Ireland equivalent to 5% of your monthly bill (exclusive of VAT), provided your account is not in arrears of payment, or 5% of Top Ups made (exclusive of VAT) and subject to certain terms and conditions which are agreed with your nominated club.
  2. The contribution will be calculated on the basis of the following:
  • (a) For bill pay Customers – 5% of the monthly bill (exclusive of VAT); and
  • (b) For pay as you go Customers – 5% of the total Top Ups made to your phone (excluding VAT, registration credit and any other loyalty credits) during the relevant period.

  2. Each GAA Club must be registered with Vodafone Ireland in order to receive payments.

  6. GAA Club members or supporters who are not Vodafone Ireland customers attempting to sign up for the Vodafone Support Your GAA Club programme are not eligible but by attempting to register for the Vodafone Support Your GAA Club programme you consent to being contacted by a Vodafone representative regarding the Vodafone Support Your GAA Club programme and/or the benefits of switching to the Vodafone Ireland network.
  7. If you cease to be a Vodafone Ireland customer any unpaid contributions due to your nominated GAA Club will be lost.
  8. Once you have nominated your GAA Club you can only change it once every 28 days by e-mailing Vodafone Ireland at the address provided on the website and it is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that their nominations are kept up to date and accurate. If you change your nominated Club, all contributions other than those contributions already paid to the Club by Vodafone, will transfer to your new nominated Club.
  9. Duration of Vodafone Support Your GAA Club programme
  1. Vodafone reserves the right in the manner agreed with the GAA to (i) suspend or cease the programme (ii) and/or to amend and modify these terms and conditions.

Pay as you go Mobile Broadband - Online Pre-Registration

  1. To avail of the free credit offer, applicants must be 18 years or over and pre-register on www.vodafone.ie before November 14 2009.
  2. The first 1000 applicants to pre-register will each receive a unique voucher code by e-mail which should be used to purchase the Vodafone Mobile Broadband modem online at www.vodafone.ie. From 22nd October 2010 €20 will be applied upfront upon registration and remaining credit will be applied over 3 months subject to a €20 topup each month.

The following terms and conditions of the Vodafone Tenner Texts for life Offer (the “Offer) are in addition to and form part of the terms and conditions of the Vodafone Ireland Limited's ("Vodafone's") mobile telecommunications service which are available on www.vodafone.ie. In the event of any conflict the terms and conditions below shall prevail.
  2. The Offer is only available to pay as you go Vodafone mobile phone customers of Vodafone ("Customers") who sign up to the Offer by August 31, 2010.

The Offers

Tenner texts for life

  1. A Customer who has topped up their pay as you go account by €10 or more in one go and has opted in to the Tenner text for life offer (the “Offer”), will receive free Vodafone ROI to Vodafone ROI texts for a 30 day period.
  2. Customers can change their “for life” Offer as often as they like. When a Customer opts into a new offer, it will replace their current offer and clear down any remaining service days of their previous offer. Their new offer will come into effect once the Customer tops up by the minimum top up required.
  3. Where a Customer switches from a pay as you go account to a bill pay account any remaining Tenner texts days will not be carried over.
  4. The Offer applies to all Vodafone ROI to Vodafone ROI standard text messages only and excludes the following:
    • Text messages to mobiles on networks other than Vodafone
    • MMS/Video Messages or any other types of messaging medium apart from standard SMS
    • Premium SMS messages to short codes
    • International Text

Vodafone operates a Fair Usage Policy. It is important to Vodafone that all eligible Vodafone customers are able to access our services. Accordingly, we have devised a fair use policy if usage is deemed excessive or unreasonable as detailed in this paragraph. Vodafone has developed a threshold for the service and the related offers by reference to average customer profiles and estimated customer usage of the service (particularly the estimated volume and length of free calls likely to be made by users or number of text send) (“Threshold”). The Threshold is regularly reviewed against average customer usage and is currently set at 5,000 Vodafone ROI to Vodafone ROI text messages every 30 day period. If, at the absolute discretion of Vodafone, Vodafone is of the opinion, that your usage of the service materially exceeds the Threshold over any month, Vodafone may contact you to advise you that your usage exceeds its fair use policy. If the excessive usage continues to exceed the Threshold after receipt of a request to desist from or alter the nature of such usage, Vodafone reserves the right to charge you for the excessive element of your usage at your price plan's standard rate or to suspend, at its absolute discretion, modify or restrict your use of the service or to withdraw your access to the Offer.

College on the Redline - Mine' s a double promotion

The following terms and conditions of the Mine's a double €240 Registration Credit for the Vodafone Redline College Promotion with all Prepay phones (the Offer) are in addition to the Registration Call Credit Terms and Conditions which can be found at http://www.vodafone.ie/terms/prepay/index.jsp#freecredit (the “Registration Call Credit Terms and Conditions”). In the event of any conflict the terms and conditions below shall prevail.

Students must register by 31 April 2011 to double the credit available to them under the Registration Call Credit Terms and Conditions up to a maximum of €240 credit (€20 per month free credit for twelve months provided the customer tops up by a minimum of €20 per month in accordance with the Registration Call Credit Terms and Conditions). Customers who have ported off the Vodafone network within the previous 90 days shall be ineligible for this credit.

Vodafone Mobile Phone Trade-In

The following are the terms and conditions applicable to the Vodafone mobile phone trade-in scheme and shall be deemed to have been accepted when you trade in your mobile phone handset at any participating Vodafone retail store. These terms and conditions are in addition to the General Terms and Conditions and form part of the general customer terms and conditions of the Vodafone that relate to the use of Vodafone mobile telecommunications services.

Trade-In Offer

The trade-in offer is available to any prepay or pay monthly customer who is porting in to Vodafone, first time connecting or upgrading tariff on the Vodafone network. The trade in handset must be presented to Vodafone retail store sales staff prior to completion of the purchase of the new handset to be eligible. You cannot trade in your handset post sale.

Any handsets meeting the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions will entitle the owner to a discount off the purchase of a new pay monthly, pre-pay, upgrade or SIM free handset from Vodafone. Only one trade-in is accepted per connection and the trade-in offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.

Trade-in values are subject to change from month to month and Vodafone reserve the right to alter trade-in values on various handsets. Trade-in values and RRP’s on handsets may vary from channel to channel. The trade-in offer applies to a limited list of handsets, full list available in store and online. Vodafone will have the final decision on all device values.

No cash, credit or voucher alternative will be available to the customer if trade-in value is in excess of the RRP of the handset, and in such circumstances the customer’s options are as follows:

  1. Customer can purchase a higher priced handset in order to avail of the discount;
  2. Customer can donate the trade-in handset to the recycling programme which is in aid of the Irish Heart Foundation.

Once you have traded in your handset, it will not be returned to you under any circumstances.

Your handset

Each handset traded-in by you should match the make and model stated when registering your order and meets the following conditions:

  1. The handset must turn on and off.
  2. The handset must be fully functional and complete.
  3. The screen must be in full working order and intact.
  4. The battery must be included and fully charged.
  5. The handset must not be crushed or liquid-damaged.
  6. The handset must be original and meet the manufacturer’s original specifications.
  7. The handset must have been purchased in Ireland and have Irish specifications.
  8. The handset must not be stolen or listed with us or a third party as stolen. The handset must not be a handset that you have purchased from Vodafone within the 30 days prior to trade in.

PLEASE NOTE YOU MUST BE EITHER THE OWNER OF THE HANDSET OR HAVE OBTAINED PERMISSION FROM THE RIGHTFUL OWNER TO TRADE IN THE HANDSET.

You are responsible for cancelling any handset or airtime contract linked to each handset. We are not responsible for any call or other costs arising before, or after, receipt of your handset(s), or arising from any other circumstances whatsoever.

Please remove SIM and Memory cards before providing us your mobile. Any SIM or memory cards received by us will be destroyed, and so obviously cannot be returned. We accept no liability in the event that any phone that has been sent with its SIM or Memory card in any respect including for any charges subsequently incurred.

Customers must back up and remove their content (e.g. phone call records, images, emails, text messages etc) before trading in a handset. This includes but is not limited to all personal details, SMS, photos, videos, games, songs or other data. Vodafone will not accept responsibility for the security, protection, confidentiality or use of such data. By sending your device to us you agree to release us from all and any losses, claims or damages with respect to the data enclosed or stored therein or on any media used in conjunction with the device. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing Vodafone intends to fully clear down the contents of any devices before their re-use or sale. You will not have the opportunity to transfer any data at the point of trade in and Vodafone will not be liable for any damage, loss or erasure of any such data.

Pins / Passwords

If you have a PIN or Password on any of your items you should remove this before submitting.

Right to Withdraw the Trade-In Offer / Right to Reclaim any Discount

Vodafone reserves the right to withdraw, modify or alter these terms or the trade-in offer at any time without notice.

Vodafone reserves the right to reclaim from you any discount issued with respect to this offer (via your debit/credit card or withhold it from any refund amount or otherwise) if any of the following occurs:

  1. information provided by you is incorrect;
  2. it is subsequently found that the handset you gave us was stolen; or
  3. if your new handset is returned or your new service contract is cancelled for any reason either during any returns period or during any minimum contract term (if applicable), the value of the trade in handset will be deducted from any refund due.

Limitation on Liability and Events Outside Of Our Control

Please remember that by sending your handset(s) to us, you agree to release us and our agents and employees from all and any claims, losses or damages with respect to the handset(s), any SIM card, any data stored or contained therein or on any media used in conjunction with the handset (whether in the form of personal details, SMS, photos, games, songs or other data). We accept no responsibility in relation to the security, protection, confidentiality or use of such data and it is your responsibility to ensure that such data is removed from the handset(s) prior to you sending it to us.

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a contract that is caused by events outside our reasonable control or due to our compliance with any applicable laws or regulations.

€30 Accumulator offer with €15 bonus

  1. The following terms and conditions of the Vodafone Accumulator Offer (the “Offer”) are in addition to and form part of the terms and conditions of Vodafone Ireland Limited's ("Vodafone's") mobile telecommunications service which are available on www.vodafone.ie. The following terms and conditions apply to the Vodafone pay as you go Free Calls and Texts to UK offer on 19th March 2011 for and are in addition to and form part each participating customer’s terms and conditions of their service:

  1. The promotion is open pay as you go customers of Vodafone. If you are eligible to receive this promotion you will have received notification directly from Vodafone. For the avoidance of doubt the offer is not open to bill pay, business, or landline/business customers.
  2. The promotion entitles you to make calls and send texts to UK mobile and landline numbers from 12.01am until 11.59pm on Saturday 19th March 2011. All calls starting and ending during this period and all texts sent during the same period will be covered by the Promotion.
  3. The promotion will apply to calls made from the Republic of Ireland to UK mobile and landlines numbers (including Northern Ireland) and excludes any calls made while roaming.
  4. Calls to UK premium rate numbers are excluded.
  5. The promotion excludes MMS, or data usage.

Simply+ Terms and conditions

The following terms and conditions of the Vodafone Simply Plus price plan are in addition to and form part of the terms and conditions relating to both the Vodafone mobile communications service and Vodafone Perfect Choice.

  1. In the event of any conflict, the terms and conditions of Vodafone Simply Plus will prevail.
  2. Existing bill pay customers who wish to move to Vodafone Simply Plus must have their account up to date and have completed their minimum contract term.
  3. Vodafone Simply Plus is a promotional price plan which will be available to connect to from March 14th to April 31st. Any request received after April 31st will not be eligible for connection to the price plan.
  4. Any Customer who avails of this Vodafone Simply Plus will receive the monthly allocation of voice minutes, text messages, email and web browsing applicable to the option chosen at the point of purchase.
  5. A Customer may use the monthly allocation of data to access Vodafone Live. Any unused allocation cannot be carried over to the next month.
  6. A Customer may use the monthly price plan allocation of Vodafone live! to view only on-net pages. These are WAP pages that are managed and hosted on the Vodafone live! portal. No carryover of a remaining balance into the next month is allowed.
  7. Customers making and receiving calls, sending texts and accessing data usage across the APN’s listed above, will incur a roaming charge when accessing those services outside of the Republic of Ireland. The default data roaming price plan shall be Vodafone Connect Abroad Daily. Customers on this plan who access data while abroad will incur the applicable roaming charge(s) listed under Vodafone Connect Abroad Daily.
  8. Calls over the internet (VoIP - Voice over Internet Protocol) and data sharing (peer to peer) are permitted under this Price plan.
  9. The plans come with free calls and texts to Vodafone numbers as default to the plans, please see Free Vodafone calls and texts terms and conditions for more information.
  10. Vodafone Simply Plus customers who wish to cease their contract, port to another operator or migrate to Vodafone pay as you go may do so at any time by giving written notice, which will be effective 30 days after Vodafone receives the request.
  11. After connecting to Vodafone Simply Plus, you may request to be moved to a Perfect Choice price plan at any time. Vodafone shall process any such request at the next billing date.
  12. Existing bill pay customers who have yet to complete their minimum contract term may not change to Vodafone Simply Plus until such a time as their existing contract period has expired.
  13. The Vodafone Simply Plus price plan does not facilitate subsidised handsets for new connections to Vodafone’s network; However, you may avail of any of the bill pay range of handsets at any time, subject to moving from Vodafone Simply Plus to a Vodafone Perfect Choice/ Perfect Choice Access Plus price plan monthly contract.

Half price Vodafone At Home for one month offer

  1. These terms and conditions are in addition to the terms and conditions of your Vodafone At Home bundle.
  2. This offer is open to all customers signing up to a Vodafone at Home landline and fixed broadband bundle without a new modem between 00:01am on 01 July 2011 and 11:59pm on 31 August 2011.
  3. The offer is not available to customers requiring a new modem as part of their service.
  4. Business customers are not eligible for this offer and should contact their BAM for more information.
  5. Customers meeting these terms and conditions shall be entitled to a 50% discount on one month of the customer’s standard Vodafone At Home bundle subject to the following:
    • The discount shall apply to the standard monthly bundle price (the normal or preferential rate). Reconnection or bespoke offers do not qualify.
    • The discount is applied at the ex vat package plan line rental cost.
    • The discount excludes any additional add ons on the account and refers to the monthly line rental of the package plan itself.
    • The discount will be discontinued after 1 month and the customer will then returning to 100% charging for their selected package plan.

  1. These terms and conditions are in addition to the terms and conditions of your Vodafone At Home bundle.
  2. This promotion is open to all customers with an active Vodafone At Home Landline service during the promotional period.
  3. Business customers are not eligible for this offer and should contact their BAM for more information.
  4. The promotional period is Easter Sunday, the 24th April 2011. From 00:00:01 until 23:59:59 on that date, eligible customers can make free unlimited calls to Irish and UK landlines and mobiles.
  5. For the purpose of this promotion, a landline is defined as a geographical telephone number. It therefore excludes call to non-geographic telephone numbers such as premium rate services and information services, inter alia.
  6. A fair usage policy applies to this promotion. Customers must hang up and redial before the 60th minute of a call in order to continue to avail of this promotion, otherwise standard Vodafone At Home rates will apply after the 59th minute.

  2. Existing Vodafone SOHO customers (the “referrer”) are invited to inform Vodafone of non-Vodafone customers (the “referee”) who they believe would like to become a Vodafone SOHO customer. The referee must qualify as a SOHO customer to avail of the offer (self employed or small office home office).
  3. Where you refer a business contact who then becomes a Vodafone SOHO customer you and your referred business contact will be eligible for a reward. The reward shall be a €50 discount off the referrer and referee’s next monthly bill. This includes out of bundle charges.
