Repairs for mobile phones

If your phone is still under warranty, the Mobile Phone Repair Company will repair it and return it to you, both free of charge.

Please note that your repair is not free of charge & may cost you if:

  • It is outside the manufacturer warranty period (normally 2 years from date of sale)
  • Customer induced / physical damage (this will void the warranty & an estimate of repair will be made)

Your phone will not be repaired if:

  • Moisture damage has occurred (this will void the warranty, your phone will be returned unrepaired & classed as "beyond economical repair")

Before you send it for repair

If you're having trouble with your mobile, there are a few things you can try before sending it for repair:

  1. Switch off your mobile and then switch it back on again.
  2. If you're a Prepay customer, check that you have enough credit to use the service you are trying. Just type *174# into your mobile to display your balance on the screen.
  3. Wipe the SIM card with a clean cloth, put it into another Vodafone mobile and then try to use the same service. If the SIM card does work in the other mobile then your mobile may need to be repaired. If the SIM card does not work in the other phone please contact us so we can investigate the problem for you.
