Vodafone Stay Mobile Insurance

What's covered?

Theft and loss We'll replace your registered mobile phone or 3G broadband modem with one of a similar specification, up to €500.00.

Malicious or accidental damage We'll repair your registered mobile phone/3G broadband modem, or replace it with one of a similar specification, up to €500.00

Number of claims allowed Two claims per twelve month period (excess charges will apply).  Cover effective immediately when your policy is taken out at time of upgrading or connecting.

What's not covered?

Theft, loss or damage as a result of an attempted theft from an unattended unlocked vehicle.

Theft, loss or damage of registered mobile phone/3G broadband modem not equipped with your Vodafone authorised SIM at the time of the incident.

Damage arising out of a manufacturing defect (breakdown).

Theft, loss or damage of equipment left unattended in a public place (unless there is evidence of forcible violent entry/exit).

Theft, loss or damage of equipment not reported to Vodafone within 30 days of discovery.

Theft, loss or damage as a result of an attempted theft or malicious damage not reported to the Garda Síochána within a reasonable period of time.

Has your phone been lost, stolen, or damaged?

In the unfortunate event that your phone has been lost, stolen or damaged, please contact one of our customer care representatives on 1907 or if you are a business customer on 1800 30 80 20.

Our representatives will immediately dispatch a claims form to you and if necessary bar the handset to prevent any unauthorized usage on it.

Should you have any queries regarding the status of your claim please call our claims department on 091 596240 between the hours of 8.30-17.30, Monday to Friday.

Update your insurance

If you have recently updated your phone then you also need to update your insurance. To check if your insurance covers your new phone log on to the phone details section in My Vodafone or call 1907.

To ensure you are covered for all eventualities, please check that the phone for which you are insured matches that which is on Vodafone's record. If you have recently changed your handset, please update your details on My Vodafone or call 1907.
