What does 'up to 8Mb' mean?
With Vodafone broadband bundles, you get the best broadband experience your phone line can give, up to a maximum of 8Mb.
- If your line supports Enhanced Broadband, you’ll get the fastest broadband speed your landline can support, up to a maximum of 8Mb. What’s more, the speed will be congestion free.
- If your line doesn’t yet support Enhanced Broadband, you’ll get the fastest broadband speed that your landline can support, up to a maximum of 3Mb - but we’re currently expanding our Enhanced Broadband service across the country and once it's available on your line, we’ll automatically upgrade you for free, giving you congestion-free, consistent speeds whenever you go online.
With Mobile Broadband you get:
- A USB stick modem for €29 so you can get online wherever you are, any time you choose
- 1GB monthly data allowance, ideal for light usage on the best performing mobile broadband

Mobile broadband is a convenient and portable way to connect wirelessly to the internet, wherever you are. Just plug the modem directly into the USB port any laptop or computer and get connected to the internet on the Vodafone Ireland network.

How does it work?
Mobile broadband uses the same technology as your mobile phone, except instead of making a voice call over the phone, your modem makes a data call across the Vodafone network which connects you to the internet.
Anytime you need to go online, just plug it in and start surfing – it’s as simple as that!
Talk Offpeak
If you like to talk for hours on evenings and weekends, or have lots of friends and family with Vodafone mobiles, then talk offpeak is right for you. Offpeak means call between 7pm and 7am each Monday to Friday, and from 7pm Friday to 7am Monday.
With Talk Offpeak, you get:
- Unlimited monthly offpeak calls to local and national landlines
- 200 offpeak minutes to any Vodafone mobile per month - that's over 2 million people in Ireland!
- Unlimited offpeak calls to UK landlines
