What is remote access?
Remote access is using another phone - mobile or landline - to listen to your voicemails.

Why do I need to have a password to listen to my voicemails by remote access?
As voicemail messages can often contain private information that is personal to you, or can contain highly sensitive information, we want to make sure that these are protected and can only be accessed by you.

How do I change my password?
Dial 173 from your mobile phone and follow the instructions.

Will this affect my access to my voicemails through my own mobile phone?
No. This will only affect you if you try and access your voicemails from any other phone besides your mobile.

How can I retrieve my password if I have forgotten it?
You can call Vodafone customer care on 1907 who can give you the 4 digit code if you forget it. This is why we recommend you set your password to a number that you can remember, but can't be easily guessed by others.

Can I change my password?
You can change your password whenever want to by dialling 173.

I never listen to my voicemail messages from any other phone apart from my mobile. Do I need to change my password?
As voicemail messages can contain information that is private to you, we would suggest that you select a random 4 digit password.

Advice for changing your password
Avoid anything obvious eg, your birthday
Do not use numbers that could be easily guessed, eg, 1234
Do not use repetitive digits, eg, 1111
Choose a number that is easy for you to remember but hard for anyone else to guess
Change your number regularly .
