Our faxmail service lets you receive, review, and print fax messages when and where you want.

How does it work?

Receiving faxes:

Faxmail lets you receive and print faxes straight from voicemail. First a text message will alert you when a fax message has arrived. Then you can forward the fax to any fax machine in the Republic of Ireland. When you set up faxmail on your account, new fax menu options are automatically added to your Voicemail menu to show you how to review and forward your faxes.

Sending faxes:

The person sending the fax just keys your mailbox number into their fax machine. Your mailbox number is just your mobile number with the digit 5 inserted after the prefix, such as 087 5 123 4567.

The fax information is then stored in your voicemail mailbox, ready to be printed out from any machine. Your mailbox can store up to 20 fax messages of up to 20 pages each. New faxes are stored for up to 21 days, and any forwarded faxes are stored for eight days.

Faxmail lets you control when and where you print your faxes– it’s great for when you’re out of the office or if you want to ensure your faxes stay private.

What does it cost?

It’s free to set up faxmail on your account, and it’s free to receive and review your fax messages. You’ll be charged at your usual price plan rates to print to a standard fax machine, but there’s no charge for viewing faxes online using Vodafone Mail.
