Why did PCH Technologies choose to partner with Vodafone?

Owners Colm and Hugh Nohilly want to expand the firm globally and believe Vodafone’s integrated global presence will make it possible for the company to operate internationally without the need for an on-the-ground presence in each jurisdiction.

 ““Our largest customers are based in the UK and we’re looking at expansion into other countries such as Australia and India. I spend a great deal of time travelling so I make a lot of ‘roaming’ calls which I have found to be more cost effective and reliable with Vodafone." explains Colm.

How our technology will help their global expansion

The company's instore consoles connect through the Internet and send and receive data via its central service and invoicing centre.

With our help and the work we're doing in the UK with Global SIM technology, the commercial benefits could be huge and this technology could offer the possibility of internationally registered SIM cards billed to PCH in Ireland, which will be a huge advantage.

“Using Vodafone’s developing Global SIM technology and international know-how is helping to open up so many customer opportunities for us, as people would be able to enter a store anywhere in the world and design, order and pay for a cake for collection internationally" says Colm.

Reducing costs AND enjoying better customer service

PCH Technologies is a returning Vodafone customer, having switched to another provider before moving back, partly as a result of better international coverage and more competitive price plans offered.

This has saved the company around €200 per month, but the primary reason for coming back was for our global reach and integration as well as the quality of our business care team.

"We’re confident that the business team at Vodafone understands how we operate and the fact that they’re able to operate on an international level makes it easier for us to evolve our business” explains Colm.
