If as a parent, you are concerned about your child's mobile phone usage, you can register for dual access to your child's account.
In order to register as a parent for dual access to your child's account, your child must be under 18 and be a registered Ready to Go customer with Vodafone. You can request registration for dual access from the Vodafone helpdesk by calling:
Bill pay - 1907
Pay as you go - 1747 (from a mobile) or 1850 20 40 20 (from a landline)
To ensure that this procedure is safe and secure you will have to answer a number of validation questions including the name, address and date of birth registered on your child's account.
On successful completion of these validation steps, Vodafone will issue to the registered address on the child's account, a registration form requesting Dual Access. You will be requested to enter a password on the form, which you as the parent will be able to quote when you contact us in relation to your child's account. The password shouldn't be divulged to anyone, even the child. This form should be completed by both you and your child and returned to Vodafone.
Once you are registered for dual access you can contact our helpdesk to request information on usage and services available on your child's account. For example information can be provided on the date, time and cost of outbound calls, text messages and picture messages.
For Vodafone to provide you with any information on the account you will need to be able to quote both of the following:
the child's name, address and date of birth registered on your child's account
the password provided at the time of the dual access registration
